Me harry Medical College
Me harry Medical College, situated in Nashville, Tennessee, United States, is a graduate and expert establishment partnered with the United Methodist Church whose mission is to teach social insurance experts and researchers. Established in 1876 as the Medical Department of Central Tennessee College, it was the primary restorative school in the South for African Americans, however not the principal therapeutic school for African-Americans in the country; the Howard University College of Medicine was sanctioned in 1868, for instance.

History;
The school was named for a youthful Scots-Irish settler salt dealer named Samuel Me harry, who was going through the harsh landscape of Kentucky when his wagon all of a sudden slipped off the street and fell into a bog. Me harry was aided by a group of freedmen, whose names are obscure. This group of liberated slaves gave Me harry nourishment and safe house in the night. The following morning they helped him to recoup his wagon. Me harry is accounted for to have told the previous slave family, "I have no cash, however when I would I be able to might help out your race.
In 1875, Samuel Me harry, together with four of his siblings, gave an aggregate of $15,000 to help with the foundation of a medicinal office at Central Tennessee College. With the commitment of the Freedman's Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church North, George W. Hubbard and John Baden, an English Methodist priest, could open the Medical Department of Central Tennessee College in 1876. The top notch had one graduate. The inferior, which had its initiation in 1878, had three graduates. In 1886, the Dental Department was established, trailed by a Pharmacy Department that was established in 1889.
Among the menial of graduates was Lorenzo Dow Key, the child of Hillary Watts worth Key. Key, together with Baden, was one of the establishing individuals from the Tennessee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, North.
