Kakatiya Medical College
The Kakatiya Medical College (KMC) is one of the therapeutic schools of Telangana, situated in Warangal under the array of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences and the Medical Council of India (MCI).

History;

Kakatiya Medical College was established in 1959 by the Warangal Regional Medical Education society with the dynamic backing of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, the Director of Medical Services of A.P. what's more, the Warangal District Collector Mohsin Bin Shabbir (whose photo decorates the fundamental passage of the medicinal school with quote 'The Earth at times bears jewels and here is one') to give restorative training to understudies of the Telangana area of the state.

The school was introduced on 23 July 1959 by the P. Karmarkar, Minister of Health, Government of India. It was initially in a building gave by the Pingale family at Waddepally and it moved into the stopgap building developed at the lasting site in November 1961.

Piece, Lecture Hall, Clinical lab, and Mortuary in the premises of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Warangal.

The A.P Government assumed control over the school from R.M.E.S. in February 1977. Around the same time the school connection was exchanged to Kakatiya University from Osmania University. Also, since 1 March 1987 the school was associated with University of Health Sciences, now Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal.

The postgraduate courses were begun in 1972 and the school is leading postgraduate courses in all office. The status the school owes altogether to the immense draftsman with wide future vision generally Prof. T. Lakshminarayana, the important of the school (1960–1965).

All the postgraduate courses are perceived by M.C.I., Medical Council of India.

Courses;

Presently it is one of the chief medicinal establishments of Telangana, taking in 200 understudies on legitimacy every year through the EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) held all through Andhra Pradesh. The school so far granted MBBS degrees to 5,600 hopefuls.

College classes;

MB, BS - Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of surgery (200 understudies for every year): The capability for college classes is 10+2 or comparable instruction with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry as discretionary subjects. MS - (Master of Surgery) A three-year course in taking after fortes: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, and Otorhinolaryngology (ENT).

Postgraduate recognition (two-year) courses in Anaesthesiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatrics, and Radiology

Non-clinical courses;

MD — A three-year course in Physiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine& Anatomy The capability for all PG and PG recognition courses is a MBBS degree from any MCI (Medical Council of India) perceived therapeutic school in India or a comparable remote degree which is perceived by the MCI.

The seats in PG courses are filled through a typical passage test by the NTR University of Health Sciences.
